Update ...

About 36 hours ago Harrison received his stem cell treatment.

Things went very well.

The photo taken moments ago of H playing on the floor with his new toy. He is balancing on his own. At the time of the photo, he had been up-INDEPENDENTLY- for about 10 min. This has never happened before.

"Would you like to go to bed now?"

"I've been waiting my whole life to play like this. I'm NOT tired!"

So he will be allowed to stay up later. All he wants...

Never doubt prayer, faith, and that miracles can happen.

Forward this to anyone interested. I have some toys to play with...

  1. What a wonderful picture! It gives me chills and tears all at the same time! Have a safe trip back to us!

  2. Harrison, I am so happy for you!! I think it is so awesome you can play like you always wanted to. Have fun staying up late. Love, Jenny

  4. Harrison . . . . awesome dude!

  5. Hi Harrison! it is your fan, victor betancourt. as you know, I have CP as well and I've been thinking about you for a long time and only now I am able to look up your website with my friend, michelle. She is my occupational therapist. I am going through some rehab myself. I am so happy that you are doing well!! I'm so glad that you got to have this opportunity to have stem cells implanted. You are one of my heros! as your parents know, the ever-so-talented Christopher Reeve (aka Superman) fought to get stem cell research started and "he would have been so proud!" I am proud of you for being so brave! Signed, Victor Betancourt
